Interview Advice
We can advise on how to approach each interview to maximise your chances of success. A few key points are listed below.

• Before your interview find out everything you can about the company. Visit stores and outlets to get a good feel for their brand and in deed the culture of the business.

• Re-read your CV thinking through your own career and the questions they might ask you. You should try to anticipate the general questions which they will ask and also prepare some questions to ask them.

• You will need to convince the interviewer you are qualified to do the job. Pre interview preparation is critical, think about why you would be right for their business and the job role, how you have added value in your previous roles, make notes on key achievements, key deliverables including financial improvements and impacts you have made. If you make sure you spend sometime preparing this before the interview then you should be able to deliver your responses in a more natural way rather than finding yourself searching for the answers. Don’t be afraid to show passion for what you do.

• You should dress smartly for the interview and should leave home earlier than you need to on the day of the interview to avoid delays. At the interview itself you must be positive about yourself and your abilities - but do not waffle.
